Circular4Recovery – en

Circular4Recovery is the Call for Projects launched last December together with the Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome, with the aim of selecting and supporting entrepreneurial projects aimed at developing innovative technologies, solutions, and services with low environmental and social impact in five Key Focus Areas of the Circular Economy:

  • Circular Bioeconomy
  • Circular Water Economy
  • Circular Energy Economy
  • New Circular Life Cycles
  • Circular City & Land

For each thematic area, the Call identifies a series of general challenges and several more specific challenges, tailored to the specific interests and innovation needs of the Corporate Partners supporting the initiative (Acea, Bonifiche Ferraresi, Cisco, Enel, Ferrovie dello Stato, IBM, Maire Tecnimont).

This initiative also confirmed the particular prominence of Enel, a global champion of sustainability and the circular transition, which promoted the Call on its Open Innovability crowdsourcing platform.

Following the evaluation process, 20 projects will be selected to participate in a Pre-Acceleration Program, lasting a maximum of 12 weeks. At the conclusion of this process, 10 projects will be selected to participate in the subsequent Acceleration Program, lasting between 12 and 24 weeks, with access to the relevant services provided by the Organizers and Corporate Partners and potential crowdfunding.
